FAQ

Does a frameless shower screen leak?
Given the fact that there are gaps around the door, does mean there is a slight risk. A shower base or a hob is recommended for all frameless shower screens. If the screen is sitting on the floor tiles, a steeper fall into the waste is essential.

Why does a frameless shower screen need a support across the top?
When a frameless shower screen has a door mounted to the wall, no support rail is needed. However, if the door hangs from another panel of glass the weight will simply put too much stress on the hinges and support panel. A narrow glass shelf on top of the side panels and above the door will give your screen the required strength.

If my frameless shower screen door is wall mounted will it be strong enough?
Your shower screen door can be hung off a wall of tiles or plasterboard. However, a timber stand is recommended. Also, doors larger than 1.5M will require three hinges, thus adding to the cost.

What colour can my kitchen splashback be?
We have a popular range of about 30 colours. However, you can choose any colour off the Dulux master palate. There are varying costs for different colours.

When can I order my splashback?
As all splashbacks are custom made, as a result the kitchen must be fully installed, including the bench tops before we can measure and quote.

Can the glass be installed to any surface?
The ideal surface is smooth plasterboard. Exposed brick or render is a more difficult surface and will be subject to an additional cost.
